Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Commercial Auto / Trucking Insurance. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, and driving digital transformation initiatives focused on policy administration, claims, billing, and third-party integrations.

This role requires strong insurance domain knowledge, experience with Guidewire implementations, and familiarity with trucking industry data sources and compliance systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Work closely with Guidewire development teams on ClaimCenter and BillingCenter enhancements.
  • Support Guidewire integrations, configuration, and data migration activities.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production readiness.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with business users, QA teams, architects, and developers to ensure successful project delivery.

 

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Guidewire ClaimCenter
    • Guidewire BillingCenter
    • Guidewire integrations
    • Data migration
    • Guidewire configuration
  • Experience supporting commercial trucking or commercial auto insurance platforms.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Strong documentation and process modeling skills.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

Experience integrating with or utilizing:

  • FMCSA data
  • VIN Lookup Services
  • Telematics Platforms
  • Fleet Safety Systems
  • Compliance Management Systems
  • Other third-party insurance and trucking data providers

Travel Requirements
