Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Commercial Auto / Trucking Insurance. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, and driving digital transformation initiatives focused on policy administration, claims, billing, and third-party integrations.
This role requires strong insurance domain knowledge, experience with Guidewire implementations, and familiarity with trucking industry data sources and compliance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and system requirements.
- Work closely with Guidewire development teams on ClaimCenter and BillingCenter enhancements.
- Support Guidewire integrations, configuration, and data migration activities.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production readiness.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with business users, QA teams, architects, and developers to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
- Strong expertise in:
- Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Guidewire BillingCenter
- Guidewire integrations
- Data migration
- Guidewire configuration
- Experience supporting commercial trucking or commercial auto insurance platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong documentation and process modeling skills.
