Your New Role

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems

  • Service gas furnaces, boilers, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless mini split systems, water heaters, and zoned systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions

  • Identify equipment issues and provide effective repair solutions

  • Install replacement components and complete system repairs according to industry standards

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with homeowners

  • Complete service documentation accurately and professionally

  • Follow all safety procedures, local codes, and company standards

  • Deliver excellent customer service on every call

  • Travel throughout Northern and Central New Jersey to support residential customers

  • Manage service calls efficiently while working independently in the field

  • 6 to 10+ years of residential HVAC service experience

  • Experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems

  • Experience with light commercial HVAC systems, including basic knowledge of rooftop units, is preferred

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working on gas furnaces, boilers, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless mini split systems, water heaters, and zoned systems

  • Knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical components, and mechanical systems

  • Ability to work independently with minimal training or supervision

  • Valid driver\'s license

  • Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

  • Ability to manage service calls efficiently and maintain accurate service documentation

  • Ability to safely lift equipment and materials as required by the role

  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, rooftops, and other residential environments

  • Stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism

  • EPA Certification preferred

  • Relevant HVAC certifications preferred
