Role Purpose
The Solution Architect, Quality Engineering is a strategic technical leader responsible for driving Quality Engineering (QE) transformations. This role involves developing technical competencies, leading pre-sales engagements, and providing architectural oversight to deliver end-to-end quality solutions—including Automation, Process, Data, Environments, and AI that drive significant client value.

Key Responsibilities
Results & Strategy
- Design architecture, standards, and methodologies that drive innovation and quality across the QE lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive Quality Strategies and detailed Implementation Plans as core components of solution development.
- Architect holistic solutions encompassing Test Process, Automation, Test Data Management (TDM), Test Environments, and DevOps integration.
- Lead the integration of Applied AI Quality Engineering as a strategic differentiator for client offerings.
- Work with Competency Owners to build robust, go-to-market materials that establish technical credibility.
- Monitor and understand market trends (Agile, DevSecOps, AI-first) to keep the competency at the forefront of the industry.
People Leadership
- Provide technical leadership to project teams, coordinating activities across the delivery lifecycle.
- Translate high-level strategies into actionable technical roadmaps for delivery teams.
- Develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals within the QE domain.
- Foster a culture of innovation, risk-taking, and continuous skill-building in modern tools and methodologies.
- Manage a span of control of up to 10 direct reports, focusing on engagement and retention.
Client & Candidate Engagement
- Lead pre-sales engagement processes, providing technical architecture, phased implementation roadmaps, and strategic vision for client-facing proposals.
- Establish technical credibility in high-stakes client meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Consult with stakeholders to design and implement complex QE transformations that solve specific business challenges.
- Ensure client satisfaction by monitoring the quality, timeliness, and ROI of project deliverables.
Thought Leadership
- Conduct ongoing industry analysis to maintain subject matter expertise in QE transformation and AI.
- Create and contribute to thought leadership (white papers, panels, conferences) to build the Experis brand.
- Represent Experis as a leader in innovative quality solutions at industry events.

Required Skills and Experience
- Technical Oversight: 5+ years of experience in the execution and oversight of complex QE or technical solution disciplines (Quality Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering).
- Strategy & Planning: Proven ability to develop end-to-end Quality Strategies and multi-phased Implementation Plans that align technical solutions with client business objectives.
- Pre-Sales & Consulting: Proven experience in a pre-sales or consulting capacity, including leading client engagements and developing technical solutions for formal proposals.
- QE Domain Expertise: Deep expertise across the full QE spectrum, including Test Strategy/Process, Automation, Test Data Management (TDM), and Test Environments.
- Coding Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in one or more core programming languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Technical Testing: Strong experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) and advanced SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
- Methodologies & Tools: Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Proficiency in CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitHub and Bitbucket is required.
- Innovation: Experience or strong foundational knowledge in Applied AI Quality Engineering (e.g., AI-assisted testing, LLM validation).
- Global Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams and clients in a global or matrixed environment.
- Operational Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for creating technical proposals, complex reporting, and executive-level presentations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

- Modern Automation: Hands-on experience or architectural mastery of Playwright or equivalent tools is highly desired.
