Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, App Services, and AKS.
Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including users, groups, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
Perform day-to-day cloud operations such as provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, restore, and incident troubleshooting.
Implement and enforce cloud governance using Azure Policies, Management Groups, tagging standards, and cost optimization practices.
Support large-scale cloud migrations using rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies.
Configure and manage networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and Load Balancers.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity using Availability Zones, Azure Backup, and Site Recovery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
Support and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Apply cloud security best practices and remediate vulnerabilities using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
Document cloud environments, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide technical support and guidance to application teams and junior cloud administrators.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Administration.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security).
Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and identity/access management.
Proven experience managing production cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and execution.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (VNets, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancers).
Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in Azure.
Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
