The Team

we are seeking a software engineer to partner in the implementation of our strategic recordkeeping roadmaps.  Therefore, the candidate must have a very strong distributed platform and cloud development background with mainframe engineering a plus.  We are organized within WI in agile squads that dynamically produce business solutions and thus the candidate must be a strong leader and teammate focused on consistent delivery of quality capabilities.

The Expertise You Have

•        BS/BA Degree

•        Minimum of 8 years of data engineering experience

•        Hands-on experience working with PL-SQL and NoSQL

•        Experience in ETL tools, including Informatica

•        Experience/exposure to Java, Python or Scala

•        Experience with design and development of high TPS REST based Microservices using frameworks like Spring, Mybatis, Jersey etc.

•        Design, develop, and implement data intensive Web Services, including alignment to coding standards, and building/running appropriate unit and integration tests and deployment scripts via karma, JUnit, groovy, jest, etcCloud experience with Azure is a plus

•        Agile methodology experience with CI/CD.

•        SQL, AWS Certification a plus

•        Knowledge on CD process and tools and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory etc.)

•        Demonstrated work experience using data streaming tools like Kafka and loading data to low latency caching data stores like Redis

•        Mainframe development skills a plus.
