Title: GIS Analyst, Mid-Level
Location: Frankfort, KY 40601 Remote
Terms: Contract
Summary:
Key Responsibilities
GIS Application Support & Development
• Support the creation and maintenance of web maps and applications using ESRI technologies, as well as custom applications as needed
• Assist with ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Server, and mobile GIS tools
• Perform GIS analysis, data editing, and troubleshooting
Customer Support & Solution Delivery
• Work with customers to understand needs and help determine appropriate GIS- based solutions
• Assist in translating business needs into technical requirements
• Support solution delivery and provide basic user guidance/training
Data Management
• Perform data editing, quality control, and basic data organization
• Support established data standards and workflows
• Assist with documentation and metadata where needed
FME & Automation Support (Limited)
• Support existing FME workflows and assist with basic modifications
• Learn and contribute to data automation processes over time
Additional Support (as needed)
• Assist with scripting tasks (Python or similar)
• Support documentation and internal knowledge sharing
• Contribute to team-based problem solving and solution development
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in GIS analysis, support, or application development
• Experience with ESRI tools (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro required)
• Experience with ESRI web maps and basic app configuration (Mobile and browser- based)
• Experience with GIS data editing and management
Preferred
• Exposure to ArcGIS Server environments
• Basic experience with FME or willingness to learn
• Ability to write and debug basic scripts in Python, Arcade, or similar languages
