Project Manager-Level 2 - Experienced (6 - 10 Years)

Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager for the Value Engineering Team within an Engineering and Construction business unit. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of innovative engineering projects from field execution turnover to completion. The role focuses on projects that impact our Solar and BESS portfolio, with project values ranging from $200 million to $1.5 billion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation.
  • Oversee contract administration, safety management, project management planning, cost management, and time management.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables and scope compliance.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas.
  • Act as a company representative with local, national, and international agencies during the execution phase.
  • Provide input on process improvements and best practices for project delivery.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience managing engineering and construction projects from design to implementation, with responsibility for budget oversight and execution.

Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Understanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Driving will be required; a valid, non-restricted driver's license is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience with Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects or other power generation systems.
  • Knowledge of project valuation methodologies and financial metrics (NPV, IRR, LCOE).
  • Understanding of utility-scale energy project development.
  • Experience with data analysis and analytics.
