An enterprise financial services organization in Virginia is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Vienna. This role will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through the full project lifecycle, with a focus on delivery, stakeholder coordination, and execution against business objectives.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale enterprise projects from planning through implementation and transition to operations
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
Partner with business leaders, technical teams, procurement, and vendors to define requirements and drive delivery
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide clear stakeholder communications and status reporting
Manage vendor contracts, project documentation, quality assurance, and change control in alignment with organizational standards
Qualifications:
10+ years of enterprise project management experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing project budgets, risks, resources, and vendor relationships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and influencing skills
Desired Skills:
PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
Experience supporting large financial services organizations
Advanced degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience with enterprise procurement, contract administration, and vendor management
Knowledge of organizational governance, compliance, and change management practices
