Data Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

The candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven business decisions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

• Perform data validation, data cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.

• Use Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data analysis and visualization.

• Identify trends, patterns, and business insights through exploratory data analysis (EDA).

• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.

• Develop and monitor KPIs, metrics, and business performance indicators.

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and analytical needs.

• Perform statistical analysis and support forecasting and trend analysis.

• Automate recurring reports and data workflows.

• Maintain documentation of data sources, analytical processes, and reporting methodologies.

• Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, including Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, and Window Functions.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.

• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis.

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development.

• Understanding of data cleaning, data transformation, and data validation.

• Basic knowledge of statistics and data visualization techniques.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.

• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift.

• Understanding of data modeling and database management.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.

• Familiarity with Git, Jupyter Notebook, and Agile methodologies.

• Experience automating reports and dashboards.
