Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IBM Workload Scheduler Administrator / Infrastructure Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/Tivoli) environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in Riverwoods, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable IBM Workload Scheduler solutions to meet business requirements
Administer and support IWS/Tivoli environments, ensuring optimal performance
Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture
Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture processes and solutions
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team knowledge
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on current systems
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making aligned with business objectives

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in architecture or infrastructure roles with focus on IBM Workload Scheduler
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and administering IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/Tivoli)
Strong system analysis and architecture development skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of industry standards and architecture best practices
Proficiency in documentation and technical writing
Strong collaboration and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Adaptable to a hybrid work model and capable of managing multiple priorities
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
