Basic Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science (or AIS) + 10+ years experience
  • 5+ years developing system software in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments
  • Strong Bourne/Bash & Expect scripting skills
  • Advanced Linux kernel debugging (source code review, logs, crash, systemtap)
  • Experience managing Red Hat Satellite repositories (patching & custom kernel builds)
  • Automation using Ansible & Satellite Server
  • Experience with LDAP & token-based identity management systems
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (Required to start)
Core Responsibilities Snapshot
  • Automate day-to-day Linux administration & debugging tasks
  • Provide SME-level support for RHEL-based HPC systems
  • Install & maintain software libraries using Bash/Expect templates
  • Troubleshoot user access & system issues (one-on-one support)
  • Manage backups & long-term tape storage
  • Maintain & improve existing scripting and automation frameworks
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation
  • Support security, O&M staff, and government stakeholders
