Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, management information systems or equivalent work experience and ten years of work experience in information technology, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
Certifications:
1. 2019 Certified Professional
2. Certified SQL Server Professional
Required Experience:
• 15+ years of IT business/industry work experience.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle database management systems.
• Experience with Sun Solaris operating systems and Oracle WebLogic.
• 8+ years of experience supporting multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data.
• Hands-on experience using Azure Synapse, Data Warehouse, DevOps or GitHub.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience utilizing BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Technical proficiency with T-SQL, PL/SQL, and other database languages.
• Strong leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
• Extensive Oracle database administration,
• Experience leading the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle relational database management systems.
• Experience leading the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Sun Solaris operating systems and Oracle WebLogic and/or SQL Server. In addition, Fusion Middleware, Apex, and Solaris.
• Experience working in a Unix environment
