IT Manager | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Spring Lake that are seeking IT Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and data security.
• Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware and software.
• Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of critical manufacturing systems like MES and ERP.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their integration in manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, and data management in an operational technology (OT) context.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects, including planning, implementation, and budget control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Infor).
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant IT service management or project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage IT vendor relationships and contracts specific to manufacturing.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices within an operational technology (OT) environment.
