Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Cloud Engineer to help build and scale an Insurance Accounting System. This role requires experience in AWS, serverless computing, Data ETL pipelines, and relational databases. You will work on an application with a lean and autonomous development team, demonstrating experience in system development and application design. Successful engineers will combine their IT expertise with financial business knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume end-to-end ownership of the application (TypeScript/SQL) and infrastructure code (Terraform).
- Attend design and product meetings, providing technical insight into implementation.
- Operate independently and autonomously using the task board in Azure DevOps.
- Navigate an enterprise organization that requires collaboration across many teams.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 10+ years of experience working on distributed architecture in AWS or another cloud provider.
- 5+ years of experience in TypeScript.
- 2+ years of experience in an enterprise organization.
- Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code (IaC) language.
- Comfort working in existing systems and integrating across systems, such as between on-premises services and the cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80.00/hour to $90.00/hour. This is a contract role with the potential for extension.
