Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support one of our enterprise clients in San Antonio, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple large-scale, complex projects and programs, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned to defined business value
* Provide overall project governance and oversight to ensure adherence to established project management standards and best practices
* Drive excellence in project execution by improving processes, methodologies, tools, metrics, and reporting mechanisms
* Serve as a trusted partner to senior and executive leadership, managing expectations and communicating progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and effectively
* Establish strong cross-functional relationships to enable collaboration and successful delivery across business and technology teams
* Apply organizational change leadership principles to support adoption and long-term success of initiatives
* Lead project financial management activities, including forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, and reporting
* Support portfolio planning, prioritization, sequencing, and resource capacity management initiatives
* Provide transparency and visibility into projects and portfolios through dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reporting
* Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Project Management service artifacts
* Mentor and coach Project Managers to elevate delivery capabilities and drive continuous improvement
* Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and planning activities with stakeholders at all levels
* Contribute thought leadership around project, program, and portfolio management practices
* Advise leadership on risks, trade-offs, dependencies, costs, and impacts on other business initiatives
* Participate in annual and multi-year planning efforts, supporting strategic execution and resource alignment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong analytical and leadership capability
* Proven experience managing large, complex projects and programs across enterprise environments
* Significant leadership experience influencing teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership
* Strong executive presence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and materials
* Extensive experience building business cases and defining value realization
* Strong financial acumen, including experience developing and managing financial models
* Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate strategy into execution
* Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organizational leadership and change management capabilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree in a related field
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI, BRMI, or similar)
* Portfolio management experience
* Experience with organizational design, data analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation
* Vendor and third-party management experience
* Background in utilities or regulated industries
* Consulting or multi-disciplinary experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
