Role Overview

We re looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer with a strong architectural mindset and a passion for building scalable, high-impact solutions. This role blends hands-on development, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

What You ll Be Doing

Technical Architecture & Solution Planning

• Convert business needs and functional specs into robust, scalable technical designs
• Architect integrations across multiple systems with a focus on performance and usability
• Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture and UX best practices

Full-Stack Engineering

• Build intuitive front-end interfaces using ReactJS/NextJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, ExpressJS, and related frameworks
• Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services seamlessly
• Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code

Agile Delivery & Project Execution

• Lead development efforts in Agile/Scrum environments from concept to deployment
• Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to manage sprints and delivery timelines
• Oversee QA, testing, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost team efficiency

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with business stakeholders to support rollout, training, and adoption
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
• Stay ahead of emerging tech trends and contribute to long-term digital strategy

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in web application development
• 8+ years of hands-on JavaScript development
• 5+ years in B2B ecommerce environments
• 5+ years working with BigCommerce or similar platforms
• 2+ years leading development teams or projects
• 3+ years collaborating with offshore teams
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS/NextJS, Node.js, ExpressJS, HTML, CSS
• Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (GitHub, Jira, Confluence)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Comfortable working in Microsoft Office and Windows environments

Bonus Skills

• Experience integrating third-party APIs in ecommerce platforms
• Familiarity with performance tuning and error handling in web apps
• Exposure to digital marketing tools and customer experience platforms
