Job Description Program Overview The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.
Position Summary ECS is seeking a Test Automation Specialist - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of software delivery processes. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated testing scripts and integrating these with CI/CD pipelines. This position is essential for ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional and security domains, thereby contributing to the program's mission of delivering robust and secure enterprise IT solutions.
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to validate enterprise application functionality.
- Integrate automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing objectives.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and security test cases to enhance system reliability.
- Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Execute functional, regression, and security test cases to assess system performance and readiness.
- Improve delivery efficiency by optimizing testing processes and methodologies.
- Support rapid delivery objectives in Agile or DevSecOps environments through continuous testing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance system release readiness.
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 671-System Testing and Evaluation Specialist at the Basic proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): CND, Network+
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation within DoD or Federal IT environments
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated testing scripts for enterprise applications
- Proven ability to integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing test results and improving system performance
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret preferred
- Experience with Agile or DevSecOps methodologies in a DoD environment
- Familiarity with DoD 8140 alignment and compliance standards
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with development teams
- Experience in enhancing delivery efficiency and system reliability through test automation
