Description
We are looking for a skilled Web Content Specialist to join our team in Mettawa, Illinois. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the digital presence of multiple brand websites. This position combines technical expertise with a keen eye for quality assurance and a curiosity for leveraging emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Publish and update web content across multiple brand websites using enterprise-level platforms such as Adobe or Optimizely.
Build and configure landing pages, product detail pages, campaign assets, and navigational elements in alignment with established brand and UX standards.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
Manage digital assets, including image optimization, metadata tagging, and file organization within the designated systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill content requests and support marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
Monitor and analyze site performance and user engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
Utilize AI tools and automation technologies to streamline routine tasks and enhance content quality.
Stay updated on compliance requirements and ensure all web content aligns with organizational policies.
Participate in ongoing training led by the Web Team Lead to continuously refine technical skills.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content publishing and site functionality.
Requirements
Proven experience with enterprise-level content management systems such as Adobe or Optimizely.
Familiarity with quality assurance processes and web content compliance standards.
Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
Ability to optimize digital assets, including images and metadata, for web use.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate site performance and identify areas for improvement.
Experience with AI tools for content drafting, quality assurance, or automation is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
