Senior Java Developer

Location: Southlake, TX Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer
Location: Southlake, TX (Hybrid - 4 days/week in office)
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension

Minimum qualifications:

8-10 years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high-volume transactions in a Highly Available environment.

3-5 years of experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems for enterprise-wide projects.

Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies, including extensive experience with Agile development processes.

Experience and working knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.

Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices and their benefits.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience and working knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools for Agile project/code management (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence).

Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including managing offshore development activities.

Knowledge of developing Visio diagrams, architectural and design documentation, functional and technical specifications, and automated test processes.

Willingness and ability to learn all aspects of test data management and associated tools.

Experience in driving process improvements, enhanced feature adoption, scalability, and automation.

Passion for problem-solving with the ability to quickly learn new concepts.

Develop architectural diagrams and documents, write software code, and create automated test scripts.

Write efficient, easy-to-follow technical documentation and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical counterparts.

Participate actively in product design and development sessions, as well as all Agile ceremonies.

Work closely with Business System Analysts to help identify, define, and document business and technical requirements.

Collaborate closely with team members and partners to discuss options and enhancement opportunities, ensuring the timely delivery of technical projects and release deliverables.

Mentor others, grow the team through knowledge sharing, and continuously expand best practices.

Balance multiple priorities while navigating daily opportunities and interacting effectively with all levels of technical and business staff.
