We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to support Global Markets domains. The primary responsibilities will be to develop, institute, socialize, and govern architecture strategies, blueprints, and related frameworks. This role involves architecting and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements, governing a broad portfolio, and influencing strategic technology spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps.
- Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions and lead design sessions.
- Act as a control function to ensure adherence of designs to blueprints and enterprise standards.
- Support compliance of designs with relevant local laws and regulations.
- Identify risks to resolve issues and conflicting priorities.
- Leverage technical expertise to support vendor selection and build vs. buy decisions.
- Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of architectural patterns, principles, and guidelines.
- Support the execution of the architecture governance board.
- Provide a senior communication channel across multiple functional domains.
Required Qualifications
Education: A BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience is required.
Experience: Candidates must have a background as a Solution or Technical Architect. Experience with enterprise-level technology strategy within an architecture organization is necessary. Experience in Financial Services, specifically within markets in either Trading or Post-Trade, is required, with demonstrated knowledge of the complete trade and contract lifecycle.
Technical Skills: A broad understanding of various technologies is essential. This includes application development knowledge (Enterprise Applications, distributed services), experience with architectural methodologies (UML, BPMN), and familiarity with modern application development and deployment (Automated Testing, CI/CD). Broad-based IT knowledge across hardware, software, middleware, databases, and cloud is also required.
Leadership and Communication Skills: The role requires the ability to manage senior stakeholder expectations, provide strategic vision, and interpret business needs. Candidates must be able to translate complex concepts for various audiences, work effectively in a matrix organization, and express ideas clearly to influence teammates and partners.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00/hr - $73.68/hr. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
