A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Applications/Software Developer 5

Position type: Contract, Part Time

Job duration: 6 Months

Location: remote - east coast preferred but flexible

As an Applications/Software Developer 5, you will:

• Translate complex life sciences and business challenges into structured mathematical and datadriven models.
• Apply advanced quantitative, statistical, and optimization techniques to develop optimal solutions in collaboration with domain experts.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack webbased SaaS applications for the global pharmaceutical industry.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full technology stack to implement analytical and AIpowered solutions.
• Leverage AIbased development tools and techniques (e.g., RAG, AI agents, finetuning, prompt engineering, GraphRAG) to accelerate product innovation.
• Build and integrate datadriven decisionsupport tools and models that enhance strategic planning, forecasting, and portfolio management.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with developers, data scientists, and product managers to design and deliver bestinclass solutions.
• Work directly with life sciences clients to gather requirements, structure analytical problems, and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Develop, pilot, and deploy realtime, datafocused software products aligned with industry and customer needs.
• Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases to store, retrieve, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
• Ensure high standards of software quality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Communicate insights, progress, and outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, programming languages, and analytical methodologies.
• Contribute to improving healthcare decisionmaking and patient outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Up to 4 years of experience in full stack web application development
• Experience in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, C#, .Net, Java, or C / C++)
• Experience with AI based coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and AI techniques like Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, fine-tuning, Advance Prompt Engineering and GraphRAG
• Knowledge of SQL or no-SQL databases (or be willing to learn)
• Direct experience in building tools or models that help customers make better decisions using data and structured methodologies
• Strong analytical abilities. You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data, learning new programming languages, or building quantitative insights based on an understanding of complex systems
• Intellectual curiosity, discipline and attention for structure and details
• Interest in life sciences / healthcare
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $80 - $91.80 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
