Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead risk-based internal audits in compliance with government and professional standards. This role oversees full audit lifecycle execution, quality assurance, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through final reporting

• Ensure compliance with GAGAS (Yellow Book) and IIA IPPF standards

• Review audit documentation and testing for quality

• Apply data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements

• Provide audit status updates to leadership

• Mentor and develop audit staff

• Manage corrective action tracking

• Support fraud, waste, and abuse investigations

• Maintain audit independence and ethics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

• 8+ years of internal audit experience

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Required

• Proven audit leadership experience

• Strong reporting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CISA, CFE, CPA, or CrFA certifications

• Experience with Diligent or similar audit tools

• Power BI, ACL, or audit analytics tools

• Public sector or government audit experience
