Summary

Title:  Hybrid Contractor - Nuclear Senior Project Controls Specialist (Master Scheduler)

Location:  Must be able to work in either our Corvallis, OR or Houston, TX office locations.

This is a 40 hour/week contract position anticipated to last through May 2027.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 The Master Scheduler works in close coordination with the Portfolio Integration Manager, the Director, SMR Product Development, Supply Chain Planners, and Commercial Project Directors to ensure that ongoing product development activities are fully integrated with customer delivery plans via an integrated master schedule.  

 

This is a limited duration scheduling position to lead the integration of the existing project development schedule with a standard customer delivery project.  

 

The integrated schedule will inform ongoing project execution, task prioritization, future project planning, cross-project interfaces, what-if scenarios, and long-term resource planning.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the development and documentation of standards and processes for integrated master scheduling at Seine Client with a focus on integration across large programs.

Lead the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule and coordinate with project controls leads to incorporate Program Level Schedules and other external schedules.  

Develop and maintain a basis of schedule document.

Issue periodic status reports related to program/project progress including critical path analysis, milestone variances, milestone completions, and top-level resource issues.

Lead the resolution of issues among various stakeholders.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Quality Assurance:  Commits to the understanding in the implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

 

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

Education:  

A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is required.  

Directly applicable technical working experience is required.

 

Experience: 

Minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in a project planning / scheduling for large projects is required.

 

Additional required and preferred experience includes:

Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities. (Required)

Strong technical writing skills. (Required)

Good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills.

 Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases. (Required)

Leadership experience in leading and mentoring supporting Schedulers. (Required)

Planning, Scheduling, Last Planner, Primavera P6. (Required)

Oracle ERP experience. (Preferred)

 

Industry Requirements:  

Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810.
