We have an immediate need for multiple Data Scientist professionals specializing in A/B Testing and Website Experimentation for hybrid opportunities in Sunnyvale, CA and Austin, TX. We are actively hiring for 5 positions including 1 Senior role based in Sunnyvale, CA and 4 Junior roles based in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX with a 3 days hybrid work schedule. This opportunity focuses on driving website optimization strategies, digital experimentation initiatives, and data-driven product decision-making in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will serve as the statistical engine behind website experimentation and optimization strategies by designing, executing, and analyzing controlled A/B tests to improve user experience, engagement, conversion rates, and business growth. The role involves partnering with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure all digital changes are backed by rigorous experimentation and data analysis. Candidates will formulate hypotheses, define experimentation metrics, determine sample sizes, oversee randomization and segmentation strategies, and ensure data integrity throughout the experimentation lifecycle. The selected professional will apply advanced statistical methods including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and significance analysis while conducting post-test deep dives to uncover segment-level insights and optimization opportunities. Responsibilities also include building dashboards, translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, and maintaining experimentation roadmaps and reporting frameworks for stakeholders.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in A/B testing methodologies, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, SQL, Python or R, and experimentation frameworks. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with experimentation platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, or LaunchDarkly along with web analytics tools including Google Analytics 4. Strong understanding of probability, experimental design, Bayesian and Frequentist approaches, data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and digital product analytics is highly preferred. Excellent analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to explain complex statistical findings to non-technical stakeholders are essential for this role. Senior-level candidates should possess strong expertise in experimentation strategy, stakeholder collaboration, and advanced analytical problem-solving capabilities.
