Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with strong expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to lead and coach multiple Agile teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will drive Agile best practices, facilitate program-level execution, and support continuous improvement across teams. This role is expected to manage and support a minimum of three Scrum teams while collaborating with Product Management, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Architects, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
l Serve as Scrum Master for 3 or more Agile teams, ensuring effective Agile delivery and team productivity.
l Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and PI Planning.
l Coach teams on Scrum, SAFe principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
l Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined and prioritized backlogs aligned with business objectives.
l Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
l Support Program Increment (PI) planning, execution, and cross-team dependency management.
l Drive transparency through Agile metrics, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
l Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
l Work closely with RTEs, Architects, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams and ARTs.
l Monitor team health, velocity, predictability, and delivery commitments.
Required Skills
l Strong hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
l Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously (minimum 3 teams).
l Deep understanding of SAFe Agile methodology and Agile delivery practices.
l Expertise in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
l Experience with dependency management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
l Strong knowledge of Agile metrics, capacity planning, and release planning.
l Experience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.
l Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
l Experience working in large-scale enterprise Agile transformations.
l Experience coordinating with globally distributed teams.
l Background in Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Retail domains is a plus.
Education & Experience
l Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
l 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
l Experience working in a SAFe environment supporting multiple Agile teams.
