Summary

Our client, a leading global medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their Business Applications and Development team.

This individual will play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications across a complex, global environment. Acting as a key liaison between Supply Chain Operations, Sales Operations, and IT, this role ensures that SCM solutions are stable, scalable, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional lead for Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including Supply & Demand Planning, S&OP, Order Management, Shipping, Procurement, Inventory, Global Trade, Manufacturing, and Quality
  • Ensure system configurations effectively support current operations and future business growth
  • Provide production support, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, functional designs, and integration specifications
  • Assess upstream and downstream system impacts for proposed changes
  • Partner with development teams on integrations, extensions, reporting, testing, and deployments
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency across SCM applications
  • Evaluate quarterly Oracle releases, enable new features, and coordinate regression testing efforts
  • Lead and participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support supply chain optimization efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of Oracle SCM experience, including at least 5 years with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
  • Oracle Cloud SCM certifications strongly preferred
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale, global Oracle SCM environments, including multiple full lifecycle implementations
  • Experience working in Agile and/or ITIL environments
  • Prior experience in a regulated medical device or similar manufacturing environment is a plus

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and Oracle ERP architecture
  • Deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules
  • Experience with system configuration, controls, and change management
  • Knowledge of data governance, reconciliation, and data integrity best practices
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable system solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards within manufacturing environments
