We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native platforms that enable secure and efficient application delivery. This role focuses on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, GitOps-driven CI/CD workflows, and automation. The ideal candidate is passionate about developer enablement, infrastructure as code, and building resilient, self-service platforms using modern automation and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Implement and manage GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Harness.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support microservices deployment and orchestration across distributed environments.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python for CI/CD and infrastructure provisioning.
- Enable cloud-native platform capabilities across Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices, observability, and monitoring into pipelines.
- Improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and release speed through automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable self-service platforms and developer productivity.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP).
- Experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions), and deployment tools like Harness.
- Experience with Java builds (Maven/Gradle) and automation using Python for CI/CD workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architecture.
- DevSecOps, observability, and monitoring implementation experience.
- Experience in large-scale regulated environments with governance and audit controls.
- Certifications in DevOps or Kubernetes.
