Job Description:

Product Manager - File Transmissions & Information Reporting

Summary:

The Product Manager will assist with the strategy, design, and delivery of products and services related to file transmissions, data integration, and information reporting for commercial clients. This role requires expertise in file mapping, secure transmission protocols, and reporting solutions, with a strong understanding of client needs in high-volume data exchange environments. Experience with OpenText or similar managed file transfer (MFT) platforms is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own the product lifecycle for file transmission and reporting solutions, including roadmap development, requirements gathering, and delivery.
  • Define and manage file mapping specifications, ensuring compatibility with client systems and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement secure file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, AS2, API-based integrations).
  • Partner with operations and client support teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and compliant transmission processes.
  • Drive enhancements to information reporting capabilities, including data formats, delivery channels, and user experience.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure products remain competitive and compliant.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and marketing materials.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and clients on file transmission and reporting solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related roles within financial services, technology, or data integration domains.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Hands-on experience with file transmission technologies (e.g., SFTP, AS2, APIs) and file mapping (XML, CSV, ISO 20022).
  • Familiarity with OpenText Managed File Transfer or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of information reporting products and data delivery standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time.
