Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant (FERC Experience Required)

Location: Hybrid- Houston, Texas

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), along with experience working in environments governed by FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance processes within the oil, gas, or energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Ensure compliance with FERC regulatory requirements in financial processes and reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Design, develop, and implement financial reports aligned with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PM) for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
• Provide support for audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 9-12 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of core FICO processes and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with FERC-compliant financial reporting.
• Experience in the Oil, Gas, or Energy industry.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in FICO.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and regulatory accounting practices.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations.
