Summary

Plant Technician/Technologist

Location: Berkeley, CA

Duration: 6 months

Job Profile Summary:

An individual who is technically or mechanically inclined that can help operate equipment for trials in a food manufacturing facility. This person will need to be flexible, and will do a variety for tasks from receiving and scaling materials, loading ingredients into equipment, operating equipment and performing minor repairs with team members when needed. They will also be asked to help support the team in other initiatives occasionally regarding quality, safety, and overall pilot plant performance.,

Requirements:

Associates Degree , strongly preferred Bachelors and/or Engineering Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience
8 hrs/day, 5 days a week
Anti-Slip and Steel Toed Shoes Required
Should be able to lift 50 lbs and stand on feet for long periods
