RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Denver, CO.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Cloud Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and optimization of cloud-based data and analytics environments within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is responsible for configuring platform services, supporting connectivity and security requirements, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliable operations across Microsoft Fabric and related Azure services.

The Cloud Engineer will work closely with architects, engineers, security teams, and platform administrators to support scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments. This individual will help implement infrastructure standards, troubleshoot platform issues, and support ongoing operational excellence across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
* Configure, maintain, and support Microsoft Fabric and Azure cloud environments
* Implement infrastructure, networking, and connectivity solutions required for data integration and analytics workloads
* Manage platform configuration, capacity settings, access controls, and environment administration
* Support deployment automation, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code practices
* Monitor platform health, performance, and operational metrics
* Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and service-related issues
* Collaborate with security teams to implement identity, access management, and data protection controls
* Support environment provisioning, upgrades, patching, and configuration management activities
* Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks
* Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency planning
* Identify opportunities for performance optimization, cost management, and operational improvements
* Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to project and operations teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud administration, or infrastructure support
* Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments
* Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, security, and access controls
* Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, or infrastructure-as-code solutions
* Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
* Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Engineer, or related certifications
* Experience supporting enterprise analytics or data platforms
* Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, networking, and cloud security best practices
* Experience working in Agile project environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
