Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OMS (Order Management System) Consultant with strong expertise in Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) to lead the design, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in order orchestration, inventory visibility, allocation, sourcing, fulfillment, and omnichannel retail processes, combined with hands-on experience configuring and extending the Manhattan Active Omni platform.

This role requires a strong blend of functional consulting, solution architecture, and technical expertise, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to deliver scalable and cost-effective OMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end OMS solution design, implementation, configuration, and support using Manhattan Active Omni (MAO).

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to order management, inventory management, allocation, sourcing, fulfillment, payments, returns, and omnichannel retail operations.

• Design scalable Order Management solutions supporting:

* Order Orchestration

* Distributed Order Management (DOM)

* Inventory Visibility

* Inventory Exposure

* Allocation & Sourcing

* Fulfillment Optimization

* BOPIS (Buy Online Pickup In Store)

* Ship From Store

* Ship To Home (STH)

* Returns Management

• Configure and support Manhattan Active Omni modules, workflows, business rules, and fulfillment processes.

• Design and implement MAO Proactive-based customizations including:

* Extension Packs

* User Exits

* Event-Driven Workflows

* Custom APIs

* Integrations

• Architect integrations between MAO and enterprise systems including ERP, WMS, POS, eCommerce, payment platforms, and third-party applications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, and operations teams to design scalable and efficient OMS solutions.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal solutions using MAO out-of-box capabilities and targeted customizations.

• Lead system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment activities, and production support.

• Troubleshoot complex OMS and MAO issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term resolution strategies.

• Create and maintain solution design documents, configuration documentation, process flows, and integration specifications.

• Own solutions through the complete lifecycle, including design, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and production support

• Mentor junior consultants and review functional and technical deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience in Order Management, Retail, Supply Chain, Omnichannel Commerce, or related domains.

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) and/or Manhattan OMS.

• Strong expertise in Order Management and Omnichannel Retail processes, including:

* Order Lifecycle Management

* Order Orchestration

* Distributed Order Management (DOM)

* Inventory Visibility

* Allocation & Sourcing

* Fulfillment Management

* BOPIS

* Ship From Store

* Ship To Home (STH)

* Returns Processing

• Hands-on experience with MAO Proactive framework, including extension development, user exits, event subscriptions, and custom business workflows.

• Strong understanding of MAO configuration, APIs, integrations, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience designing integration solutions across OMS, ERP, WMS, POS, eCommerce, and payment systems.

• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and Postman.

• Strong solution architecture and system design experience within retail and omnichannel environments.

• Experience supporting production OMS environments and managing critical business issues.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven experience working directly with business users, operations teams, and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manhattan Associates Certification (MAO/OMS/WMS).

• Experience with Manhattan OMS (EOM) to Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) migration projects.

• Experience in Retail, eCommerce, Omnichannel, or Logistics industries.

• Exposure to cloud-based deployments and SaaS platforms.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with IBM Cognos, reporting, analytics, or operational dashboards is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
