Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate II for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role supports a team dedicated to building a healthier future by advancing science and ensuring access to necessary healthcare. As a part of a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics, you will focus on developing innovative solutions for decision-making throughout a person's health journey.
Responsibilities: - Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities
- Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses
- Present and discuss results of experiments within the department and project team
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature
- Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control, and others as appropriate
- Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files
- May act as a principal investigator in conducting own experiments
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences preferred)
- 2-4 years of relevant post-college experience
- Candidates with a Master's degree or Ph.D will not be considered for this role
Pay range: up to $27.00 per hour
