Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate III for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is dedicated to building a healthier future by advancing science and ensuring everyone has access to the healthcare they need. As a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics, the team focuses on developing innovative solutions that are crucial for decision-making throughout a person's health journey by bringing to market diagnostic testing, laboratory efficiency tools, healthcare digitalization, and decision support software.
Responsibilities: - Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support projects
- Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
- Present and discuss results of experiments within the department and project team
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies
- Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate
- Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files
- May act as a principal investigator in conducting own experiments
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences preferred)
- Master's degree acceptable with up to one year of relevant experience
- 4-6 years of relevant post-college experience
- Candidates with a PhD will not be considered for this position
Pay range: up to $34.00 per hour
