Senior Network Engineer
Techies4Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a confidential US-based client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking, routing and switching, firewall configuration, VPN technologies, and WAN design. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing secure and reliable network infrastructure to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls.
- Design and support VPN solutions and WAN connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues.
- Implement network security best practices and support infrastructure reliability.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams on network projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and support network upgrades and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in routing and switching.
- Proven experience with firewall configuration and management.
- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies and WAN design.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
- Understanding of network security, performance optimization, and high availability.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and performance management tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
- Salary: $110,000–$140,000 USD annually, depending on experience and skills.
- Employment: Full-Time.
- Work Arrangement: Remote within the United States.
- Client: Confidential US-based client.
