Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Expert)

Client: NeDHHS State of Nebraska
Location: Lincoln, NE (On-site)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST | Monday Friday

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of experience managing complex, large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent).
Expertise in developing project artifacts such as schedules, risk registers, stakeholder plans, and status reports.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with state or federal health and human services programs (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, child welfare, behavioral health).
Background in managing federally funded projects or grants.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and government program implementation.
PMP certification or equivalent.
Bachelor s degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
