Need Candidates with a Minimum of 6 Years of Experience. This is a 100% Onsite role and needs candidates on W2.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Database Specialist to lead the design, architecture, and performance optimization of enterprise-scale Oracle database environments supporting high-volume OLTP systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in database modernization initiatives, migration projects, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and define Oracle database architecture and schema design for high-volume OLTP environments.
  • Establish and maintain database scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
  • Lead database modernization and migration initiatives, including upgrades and cloud/infrastructure transitions.
  • Optimize database performance through tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable database solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore and distributed teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working with Oracle Database technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle database architecture, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience supporting high-volume OLTP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with database migration, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance diagnostic tools.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and high availability architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud (OCI) for database deployments.
  • Experience with automation, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.
  • Oracle certifications are a plus.
