Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect
 
Location: Remote (US), EST preferred. 
 
Role Summary
 
We're looking for a Marketing Cloud Architect to design and lead multichannel customer journeys for an enterprise digital implementation. You'll own the solution architecture, from data integration to campaign execution.
 
Responsibilities - 
  • Design end-to-end Marketing Cloud solutions (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio)
  • Define data models, Data Extensions, and integration patterns with Salesforce CRM and external systems
  • Lead requirement workshops and translate business goals into scalable architecture
  • Set standards for AMPscript, SSJS, and personalization logic
  • Guide developers and QA; review designs and approve releases
  • Advise on deliverability, consent, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR where applicable)

Must-Have Skills - 

  • 10+ years on Salesforce, with 5+ years on Marketing Cloud Engagement architecture
  • Expert in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions
  • Strong AMPscript and SSJS skills
  • Experience with API and integration design (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft or similar)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification (Consultant or Developer) preferred

Nice to Have -

  • Data Cloud or CDP experience
  • Experience with enterprise clients in retail, healthcare, or financial services
  • Consulting or client-facing leadership background
