Principal Consultant - ServiceNow

Role: Principal Consultant ServiceNow (FSO Mandatory)
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to $160K/Year

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant ServiceNow to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced ServiceNow solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Financial Services Operations (FSO) and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, deliver scalable solutions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across ServiceNow implementations
• Design, architect, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a focus on FSO and CSM
• Work closely with enterprise architecture teams to align technical solutions with business goals
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Configure and manage Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and other platform components
• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, including configuration and customization
• Drive Agile delivery processes including requirements gathering, sprint planning, and demos
• Architect and implement FSO solutions covering financial data models, dispute management, customer lifecycle, payments, loans, claims, and treasury operations
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
• Work on integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
• Provide expertise in core ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, CSDM, and data models
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Ensure adherence to ITIL and service management frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, especially FSO (mandatory) and CSM
• Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, and implementation
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting and APIs (client and server-side JavaScript)
• Strong experience working on FSO projects, including financial services data models
• Experience in Agile methodologies and virtual team environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and technical solutioning
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) implementation
• Experience working as an IRM Architect or in a similar capacity
• Strong knowledge of IRM models, plugins, and accelerators
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist IRM
• Certifications in Risk & Compliance and Vendor Risk Management
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, Jelly, JSON, AngularJS
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, ISO (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Tech / BSc)
