Business Analyst

This Business Analyst will serve as a Delivery &Validation Business Analyst within the Project Management Office (PMO),supporting application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, and other technology projects. The position will perform core business analysis responsibilities with a specialization in requirements traceability, solution validation, business readiness, and transition to production.

• Performing business analysis for application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, or other complex technology projects.
• Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and maintaining business and functional requirements across business and technical stakeholder groups.
• Developing current-state and future-state process documentation, gap analyses, business impact assessments, workflows, and other structured analysis artifacts.
• Evaluating proposed technology solutions against business requirements, processes, constraints, and intended business outcomes.
• Developing and coordinating UAT or other business validation activities, including requirements-based test scenarios, test case execution, defect management, traceability, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Using Azure DevOps or comparable project/test-management tools to manage requirements, test cases, validation results, defects, and related delivery artifacts.
• Supporting release readiness, application readiness, system migrations, production cut overs, regression validation, and post-implementation activities.
• Supporting internally developed applications, including systems such as the Commission's CAI system or InfoMap, or comparable regulatory or operational systems.
• Supporting regulatory, compliance, or public-sector business processes, including documentation of statutory requirements, business rules, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Producing clear, professional business and technical documentation and communicating complex information effectively to business and technical audiences.
