Location:- Merrimack , NH , Westlake, TX , Boston, MA , Durham , NC ( to start remote but they have to travel when needed )
The Role
A Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience developing and modernizing policy administration systems, specializing in Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA). Skilled in OIPA configuration, integration, AS files, data intake, database architecture, data extraction patterns, building OIPA extensions, and implementing application security, screens, and release management. Proficient in applying design patterns, UML modeling, Test Driven Development (Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor), and writing SQL queries/debugging stored procedures in Oracle. Experienced with IDEs including Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse in UNIX and Windows environments. Collaborative and innovative team player with leadership capabilities, eager to deliver best-in-class solutions. Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and AWS certification are additional strengths.
Must Have:
- OIPA, Java and Oracle DB experience (simple SQL) Need to only know Java so they can fix issues (maintenance role)
- Expertise in developing policy administration systems using Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA), including configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns; building OIPA extensions; and performing palette and application security implementations, screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation), and release management.
- OIPA recently moved to the cloud - so any AWS and/or Kubernetes is a nice to have
