Workday Integration Developer (Mulesoft)

Position: Workday Integration Developer
Location: Remote
Job Description: Integration Development & Architecture

• Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, and calculated fields leveraging Mulesoft and/or Workday orchestrate.
• Architect integration solutions that adhere to enterprise integration standards,
  security practices, and scalability requirements with an AI first mindset.

Systems & Data Management

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across HR platforms and
  downstream systems.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and proactively implement corrective
  actions.
• Partner with security teams to ensure proper data governance, access controls, and
  encryption.
  
  Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
• Work with Workday developers within the People Tech team as well as cross
  functional partners to gather integration requirements and translate them
  into technical designs.
• Document integration specifications, data mappings, workflows, and system configurations.
• Participate in Workday release planning and regression testing to ensure integrations
  remain stable.
  Continuous Improvement
• Monitor integration performance, optimize workflows, and identify opportunities to
  increase automation.
• Recommend and implement best practices for integration lifecycle management, versioning, and CI/CD within MuleSoft.
• Stay current with Workday and MuleSoft roadmap updates, new features, and
  industry trends.
  
  Required
• 5+ years of experience developing integrations for Workday HCM.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, flows,
  connectors, and error handling.
• Deep understanding of HRIS data structures, HR processes, and secure data integrations.
• Proficiency with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, and related integration technologies.
• Experience with Workday integration tools: EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors, PECI, and
  Report-as-a-Service (RaaS). Orchestrate experience preferred
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  
  Preferred
• MuleSoft Developer certification(s) (MCD-Level 1/2).
• Workday Pro certification(s) in Integrations or relevant HCM domains. Greenhouse
  experience preferred
• Experience with API-led architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating HR platforms with payroll, benefits, identity management, and finance systems.
• Background with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and monitoring tools.
