Job Summary:

The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for strategically designing and implementing global application architectures that support multi-park operations while meeting the tailored needs of individual parks. This role ensures that all solutions adhere to best practices for security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. The architect will collaborate with application owners, software engineers, and other architects to design integrations and new systems, including critical platforms and cloud-based applications. The position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to act as a subject matter expert across Universal’s global portfolio of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures, including:
• Component diagrams, conceptual domain models, logical information models.
• Service sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, deployment diagrams.
• Data mappings and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Develop integration strategies for applications and platforms with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout implementation phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of global systems and act as a technical advisor for architecture and delivery teams.
• Drive adoption of best practices for microservices, API design, and cloud-native architectures.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and/or architecture roles.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience in OIC
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Expertise in REST API design, microservices architecture, and messaging queues.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
• Skills:

1. Ability to create technical documentation including diagrams, specifications, and models.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
4. Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion, Oracle Retail
5. Experience in integrating Microservices into Mobile Application
6. Experience using PlantUML

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Background in designing solutions for large-scale, multi-location environments.
