The Advanced Resolution Engineer is a 100% remote, high-impact role focused exclusively on deep-dive troubleshooting and fault domain isolation across a global enterprise environment. Rather than implementing fixes, you will leverage a technology-agnostic approach and enterprise observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, ExtraHop, and Wireshark to identify the root cause of complex technical issues. This position requires a strong technical background, particularly in networking and TCP/IP, as you will be responsible for performing packet captures and log analysis to support the entire firm. You will work a standard eight-hour day within your own time zone while participating in a weekly on-call rotation to ensure consistent command center coverage.

As an Advanced Resolution Engineer, you will help drive complex technical troubleshooting efforts in a command center setting by leveraging observability tools such as Extrahop, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Wireshark. This role combines technical expertise along with a fact-based data-driven troubleshooting approach to quickly find the fault domain of complex issues that may span multiple technology stacks. Must have excellent communication abilities to work with peers and convey complex information and solutions to others. Must have curious nature with desire to solve problems and gain personal satisfaction from solving those problems
What you'll do:
- Provide in-depth technical troubleshooting and analysis of complex issues across a large global enterprise environment
- Collaborate with peers and other technology experts across the firm
- Work with a client first attitude with the ability to work well under high pressure and stressful situations to deliver outstanding customer service
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
qualifications:
Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in an enterprise systems and/or networking role
- 4+ years of troubleshooting complex systems at an enterprise level
- 3+ years experience with observability tools such as Extrahop, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Wireshark
- Full understanding of IP, TCP, and UDP
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
