Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Data & Reporting Analyst to support HR data integrations and reporting. This role involves migrating existing data workflows from a cloud-based system to an internally-developed platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and expertise in HR reporting. Prior experience with cloud data tools is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for HR data sources such as HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain HR reporting and dashboards, including metrics like headcount, turnover, diversity, equity, inclusion, and compensation analysis.
- Support the migration of data pipelines from a cloud-based platform to an internal, custom-built system.
- Collaborate with HR and People teams to convert reporting needs into effective data solutions.
- Document data lineage, transformation processes, and migration decisions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with HR data handling standards, including PII sensitivity.
Required Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Proven experience working with HR or People data, such as HRIS, payroll, or workforce analytics.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) or data integration concepts.
- Ability to work comfortably with custom systems and limited documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience with cloud data integration tools, such as Talend Cloud.
- Scripting experience relevant to the internal system's technology stack, such as Python.
- Background working within a corporate HR or People Analytics function.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or ADP.
