Security Systems Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Systems Project Manager in Hallandale Beach, FL.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Project Manager for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an onsite/field-based role with Florida travel and an ASAP start. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in physical security integration, low-voltage systems, or related project management, with hands-on knowledge of access control, IP CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities include managing projects from kickoff through commissioning and closeout, coordinating technicians and subcontractors, managing schedules and budgets, supporting system design, developing BOMs and technical scopes, and serving as a primary customer contact. Candidates should understand IP networking, VLANs, PoE, and system integration and be comfortable interpreting architectural drawings, network diagrams, and low-voltage schematics.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years in physical security integration, low-voltage systems, or related technology project management
* Experience with security system design, BOMs, and technical scopes
* Experience managing budgets, schedules, vendors, and subcontractors
* Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling
* Understanding of IP networking, VLANs, PoE, and system integration
* Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read architectural drawings, network diagrams, and low-voltage schematics
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Florida
* Preferred: Experience with Brivo, Verkada, Eagle Eye Networks, HID, Altronix, Bosch, LenelS2, C-CURE, and/or Fortinet. PMP, CAPM, or relevant security/low-voltage certifications are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
