Workday Payroll and Time & Absence Functional Configurator

Introduction:

This position involves configuring Workday Payroll and Time & Absence functionalities for our client, Truist. The role will require strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and experience working in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, responsible for configuring and maintaining Workday systems.

Responsibilities:

• Primary focus on Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management, including configuration of absence plans & leave programs, accrual schedules, eligibility rules, time entry calculations, work schedules, and validations & compliance policies.
• Secondary focus on Workday Payroll configuration, including earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, and payroll maintenance.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure system integrations and testing meet requirements.
• Provide support for unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide Tier 2 production support for Workday systems.
• Engage with Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure system functionality meets business needs.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Workday experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile experience.
• Comfortable as the dedicated configurator on a Scrum team.
