Job Title: Senior Application Programmer (ASP.NET) (Remote)

Duration: 3+ Years

Job Description:

This Seeks a Senior Application Programmer that will work on the design, development and implementation of new, modernized systems.

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

  • Development, administration & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency s replacement software and make performance improvements.
  • Perform code reviews and testing on new code.
  • Participation in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
  • Cooperation with LDWF s Technical Architect and other technical teams to ensure compliance with the client standards of State applications.
  • Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work.
  • Performs all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
    • C#
    • NET Core
    • MSSQL
  • Five (5) plus years of enterprise-level software development.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

  • Has led a team of developers under Microsoft development stack
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, Typescript
  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices/SOA)
  • Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools
  • Experience setting up, maintaining and using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automating tasks
  • Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems
  • Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
