Guidewire Developer with P&C Experience

Location: Remote

Any Visa Work

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer with strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to design, develop, and maintain Guidewire-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter, along with solid development experience in Gosu and Java.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand P&C insurance requirements
Implement business rules, workflows, and integrations within the Guidewire platform
Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and web services
Customize Guidewire UI, data model, and configuration using Gosu
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and stability
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Support deployments and environment management activities
Work in Agile/Scrum teams for iterative development and delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)
Hands-on experience with Gosu programming language
Good understanding of P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance domain
Experience with Guidewire configuration and customization
Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies
Experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Messaging)
Familiarity with Guidewire Data Model, Product Model, and PCF UI
Experience working with relational databases (SQL)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

Guidewire certifications (Associate / Specialist / ACE)
Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with Kafka or event-driven architecture

Prior experience in insurance product implementation or migration projects
