Pay Range: $60 - $68 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Develop and optimize Big Data processing solutions using Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Build high-performance, low-latency applications for processing and analyzing large datasets.
- Design and implement distributed data processing solutions in enterprise environments.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and data processing issues.
- Follow software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development with strong object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Experience processing and managing large-scale datasets in distributed environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput applications.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
